Gallery Rooms and Provençal Art de Vivre
The hotel's design, in its own words, combines contemporary elegance with Provençal art de vivre, and the rooms are designed as an art gallery. The setting suits a city with deep cultural roots: Aix-en-Provence has been a university town since 1409, when Louis II of Anjou granted a royal charter, and its Festival international d'Art Lyrique was founded in 1948. The house extends that spirit through its Soirées Renaissance, events that showcase local emerging talents in music, food, drinks and the arts.
Cézanne's City, Close to the Theatre
The hotel stands in the city centre, a short walk from the Grand Théâtre de Provence. Aix-en-Provence is the birthplace of the Post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne, and a walking trail links his childhood home, Jas de Bouffan, with his former studio, the Atelier Cézanne. To the east of the city rises Montagne Sainte-Victoire, 1,011 metres high.
Marseille Provence Airport lies 25 km away and Nice Côte d'Azur Airport 170 km. The hotel does not run an airport shuttle, so arrivals by air need their own transfer.
Light-Filled Rooms, Some with Balconies
Every room is bathed in natural light and fitted with an ergonomic work desk, with WiFi included throughout. Some rooms add a private balcony with panoramic views, the choice for guests who want outdoor space. Accessible rooms have roll-in showers, and room service runs around the clock.
A Michelin Star and Chef Vincent Merly's Table
La Table de Pierre Reboul is the culinary headline: a Michelin-starred restaurant, listed in the MICHELIN Guide. The guide describes a stylish, intimate interior with exclusive materials and olive-green shades.
Atmosph'R, under Chef Vincent Merly, is open from 12:00 to 14:30 and 19:00 to 22:30, with a casual dress code. It also hosts breakfast, charged separately, and a Sunday brunch of sweet and savoury dishes outside summer. Bar L'Avant-Scène pours creative cocktails, wine and beer from 10:00 to 00:30.
From mid-April to mid-October, Le Palm's Pool Club runs a summer restaurant on a terrace facing the outdoor pool, open from 10:00 to 20:30.
Hammam, Indoor Pool and Round-the-Clock Gym
Spa Esthederm by Renaissance has two treatment cabins, a hammam, a fitness area and an indoor heated pool, with separate areas for men and women. Body scrubs feature among the treatments. The spa opens from 9:00 to 20:00, by appointment only. The fitness room, equipped for cardio training, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Outside, the pool at Palm's Pool Club opens daily from 10:00 to 20:30, and lift or ramp access serves the pools.
Local Connections and Attentive Service
The hotel's Navigators help guests connect with locals and local experiences. Reception is staffed 24 hours, staff speak French, English, Spanish and Italian, and same-day dry cleaning is offered. Families can arrange babysitting, and 800 m² of modular event space accommodates gatherings.
