Find the right destination before choosing the hotel
Choose your setting, then your address
Choosing a five-star hotel begins with the trip you want to make. A city stay, a coastal escape and a mountain trip ask different things of a hotel. Start with the destination you want to explore, then look at the exact location of each property. Keep your arrival route, daily plans and preferred room category in view. A five-star classification can help define a shortlist, but it cannot decide which address will work best for your particular journey.
Explore a sourced collection, beginning with France
Our photo selection features 114 five-star hotels in 56 French towns and cities. The wider Hotel5only register contains 114 French hotel profiles across 56 locality pages. Paris and Cannes can be explored as city selections; the French Riviera and Alps collections cover broader areas with clearly stated boundaries. Our current published inventory is focused on France.
Look closer before you book
Each hotel profile gives the underlying address, room count where recorded, classification date and source. Browse the town pages to compare alternatives and use saved hotels to keep a shortlist in this browser. Destination photographs help you explore the setting and are labelled separately from hotel imagery. For current facilities, room availability, rates and booking conditions, continue to the hotel’s official website.
Questions before you book
Does a five-star hotel have a five-out-of-five guest rating?
No. Hotel classification and guest review scores are separate signals. A classification comes from a particular assessment system; a guest rating reflects opinions on a provider’s own scale. Hotel5only keeps the source and meaning of each separate.
Can I reserve a room on Hotel5only?
Hotel5only currently helps you discover and compare sourced hotel records. It does not take bookings or quote live room rates. Hotel profiles link to an official website when one is recorded, so you can check the details directly.
