Cinema, the Jockey Club and Tristan Auer
The hotel hosted the first projection by the Lumière brothers, and the Jockey Club met here; the hotel counts itself among the legends of the Opéra district. The present look belongs to one hand: interior designer Tristan Auer designed the hotel in its entirety.
Beside the Opéra Garnier
The Opéra Garnier lies 200 metres away, a two-minute walk, and Opéra metro station is just as close. Galeries Lafayette, Printemps and place Vendôme are a few minutes on foot, which makes the hotel a practical base for shopping. The Jardin du Palais Royal is 1 km away, and the Louvre is less than 20 minutes on foot or by metro.
